We will fire single items (20x20x20cm or less) for you, either bisque only or bisque + glaze + gloss firing.
Here is how the process works:
1. When your pots is leather hard, wrap it thoroughly with plastic.
2. Purchase the service you require via the PRODUCT page of this website, messaging me with the date you wish to drop off your wrapped pot in Evesham.
3. I will email you confirming the order and giving you the drop-off instructions.
4. Drop off your wrapped pot.
5. I will lightly trim the pot of needed, then bisque fire it.
6. I will glaze and gloss fire the pot if that service has been purchased.
7. When completed, I will contact you by email to inform you of the outcome and arrange for pick up or postal delivery (if that option has been chosen)
Please bear in mind the firing is not always successful - there are sometimes flaws like pin- holes, glaze crawling or cracking. This goes with the territory and by purchasing this service, you are accepting that the outcome is not guaranteed.
We fire bisque to 1000 degrees celcius and gloss to 1260 degrees (within margins of error of the kiln). It is not possible to fire at different temperatures.
