Large (24cm diameter) stoneware bowl thrown on the potter's wheel. Decorated with naked mole rats burrowing through earth. Mole rats are amazing creatures the can run as fast backwards as they can forwards! The dominant female secretes powerful chemicals that prevent the other members of the colony from becoming sexually mature. Nobody knows why these amazing creatures have not been celebrated in ceramic form until now. This bowl breaks new ground.
